Walk ***
For the second day running Mag and I headed down to Felixstowe prom for a sunrise stroll, lovely and quiet too as we made it to The Fludyers. The sunrise was OK but nothing out of the ordinary, a few wispy red clouds followed by the sun coming up, a big red ball, definitely the best part of the day. Then home for exercises in the garden with fingers crossed the easterly breeze arrived!
Then I went down to Felixstowe Dock view point to see the sunset which was OK but nothing special.

Windsurf **

Today was the only day in the foreseeable future with any sailable wind forecast but it did not look too promising but after finishing my exercises Landguad was showing winds gusting to 15 knots so I hitched the trailer arriving at The Dip at 12.20. Things looked promising and nearly rigged 6.5, so glad I didn’t and went with the 7.5! I had 4 runs out and back without getting close to flying:( Came ashore for a snack as Paul S came down going out with his 8m and got flying so decided to give it another try. By some pretty vigorous pumping I could get flying and had a couple of long two mile runs out in a lovely sea in the warm sunshine but you had to pump up on every turn which is exhausting but the session had definitely improved, could be the last session for awhile now as the heatwave continues, we could get some 30 degree plus days now!
